On July 22, 2024, Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. (SMCC) once again participated in the Brigada Eskwela program at San Marcos Elementary School in Brgy. San Marcos, Calumpit, Bulacan. Responding to the school’s invitation, SMCC’s involvement aimed to support preparations for the new academic year as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.
SMCC improved the school’s infrastructure by cleaning desks, chairs, windows, doors, classrooms, corridors, and grounds. They also arranged plants and promoted proper waste disposal, donating cleaning materials like brooms, broomsticks, dustpans, rags, and trash bags.
The improvements created a safer and more conducive learning environment, with the school administration and teachers expressing their gratitude for SMCC’s support and collaborative spirit. SMCC is proud of their participation, reflecting their ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
